Reikenzan: Hoshikuzu-tachi no Utage

Reikenzan: Hoshikuzu-tachi no Utage, a Chinese manhua series written and illustrated by Guo Wang Bi Xia. The opening theme is “Fast End”, performed by Soraru and Mafumafu, and the ending theme song is “Kizuna”, performed by Kakichoco. The background score is good.

The anime starts with a sage or someone like that saying about the future with the help a sword to a lady nearby. It seems the anime is not all that serious. It has a very pleasant comedy theme along with the fantasy screenplay. Suddenly a falling comet, blue color came from the sky, in the continent of Kyusshu. That star gave birth to a soul in that very place. And it is believed that one child with that soul is fated to rescue the world from that very falling comet’s curse.reikenzan-hoshikuzu-tachi-no-utage-thumb-1.jpg

12 years later… The “Reiken” clan resumes its entrance examination process to find disciples. And there comes our hero, Ōriku. He also participates in the tournament. He has also got a friend, Kaiunho. They actually became friends during their initial level of the tournament and made a pact that they’ll help each other so that their possibility of winning might increase. Our hero has got an assistant as well.

So, the progression of the anime might be a question of how Ōriku manages to win the tournament (or maybe not) and save the people of Kyusshu. However, if you are looking for any fantasy short anime with a comedy theme, this one is recommended for you.
