Hunter x Hunter volume 33 gets shipped in Japan on June 3

The much anticipated 33rd volume of Hunter x Hunter will be shipped on June 3 in Japan.

Writen by Yoshihiro Togashi, Hunter x Hunter is one the biggest mainstream manga and anime franchise of Shueisha. As of December 2012, 32 volumes have been collected an shipped. It has sold over 65.8 million copies in Japan alon as of February 2013.

After the 2014 hiatus, the much expected volume 33 will be ready to be shipped on June 3. What was supposed to be a 2 week hiatus has extended till 20th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump because of the work load the writer had to manage.

In 1999, Hunter x Hunter was adapted into a 62-episode anime television series produced by Nippon Animation and directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi which originally ran till 2001.

There are 10 exclusive video games based on Hunter x Hunter developed by Konami or Bandai Namco.
