Future diary is an anime adaptation taken from a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Sakae Esuno. The opening theme is “Kūsō Mythology” by Yōsei Teikoku, and the ending theme is “Blood Teller” by Faylan. Both sound quite horror. However it meets the needs of the anime. The background scores and the screenplay gave me chills.
Yukiteru “Yuki” Amano, our hero who spends most of his time writing diary about every single random things happening around him in his mobile phone. He is a loner. It seemed like he had no dreams for his future also no regrets about his past as well. He has his own imagination world where he talks to Deus Ex Machina, the God of Time and Space and Murmur, Deus’s servant.
At first everything seemed okay. But one fine day, Deus gave him some super natural powers. To be more accurate, Deus gave super natural powers to his mobile phone. Now, his mobile automatically types in his future to a certain future. At first, he thought it was just a coincident. Nonetheless, it was no coincidence. Eventually he gets that fact and he used that super cool power to make his daily life better. He felt like things were joining perfectly.
However, one day finally, he got the whole plot of his power. He considered that it was granted for good but it was not. He was actually pulled inside a time game. Here, he had to kill people before he gets killed. Actually I have not told all the things here because the whole episode was full of twists and thrillers and I would not like to spoil your fun. So, don’t worry I’m not gonna tell you those parts (Spoilers). Just see for yourself.
To express my views about this anime in brief, it was awesome. Yeah really, it’s been a while for me watching such good anime recently. Also the progress of this anime might be about the future of our hero of course as the name of the anime suggests. We also have another important character here, Yuno Gasai. She’ll give you chills while watching this anime. So, let me conclude saying the fact that this anime is a recommended one.
