Fort of Apocalypse

The screenplay starts with a boy, Yoshiaki Maeda (our hero) thrown into prison. But he didn’t do anything wrong. He was framed. He just witnessed a murder while returning from his high school to his apartment. He even saw the killer but he couldn’t do much. No one believed in him. Also another trending news was spreading like fire all across the country. It was a disease that makes people into a walking zombie. People who got bitten by the infected will become one among them.

Shouran Academy has got 124 inmates and 20 guards in there. Our hero, Maeda-kun had three cellmates – Iwakura, Yamanoi, and Yoshioka. The academy where he was imprisoned was full of chaos. People inside fight each other. Soon Maeda comes to know everything – there is a war going on among the prisoners. On one fine day, while they were on their P.E. class, a prison van came out of nowhere and crashed into the facility. And that’s when things get more interesting. There was a flesh eating zombie inside. It just went on a rampage and ate a guard. Now the population in there became 143.

The progress of the story might be about how our hero manages to get out of all the trouble and what next. The artwork and screenplay feels so good. So, if you’re looking for some flesh eating zombie manga, this manga (Fort of Apocalypse) is strongly recommended.
