Boku dake ga Inai Machi, also known as Erased, is a psychological thriller anime. This anime seems to have such a profound and intense story. The Screenplay looks great with all its visuals and well suited back ground score. The anime looks quite promising.
29 years old struggling manga author, Satoru Fujinuma has got some special supernatural powers. He calls it as ‘revival’. With this power, he could actually see through time for one or minutes. But the thing is the guy doesn’t have any control over that power. It activates automatically only at times when something bad is in the process of happening around him. He is employed on a part-time job so that could pay his rents off. On one fine day, while he was on his way to deliver some food stuff, he saves a small kid from a truck accident using his revival. However, the guy ends up with a head-on collision with a car eventually admitted in the hospital by one of his co-workers, Airi Katagiri. She is a high school girl doing a part-time job for some reasons which she has not mentioned yet. So, his mother, Sachiko Fujinuma, shows up for taking good care of her son. It seems she lives in some other place a little far away from Satoru’s house. On seeing his mom, some childhood memories flashed before his eyes, memories which were 18 years old.
Also some interesting stuffs will happen at the last three minutes of the first episode which I rather not say (Spoiler). As I already said the anime looks so intense and dark as well. So, we couldn’t expect any comedies while the story progresses, I guess. But the story is all about Satoru, our hero finding a serial killer using his super human powers (Revival). Also apart from the professional review side, I personally recommend every anime lover to watch this anime.
